What is it?:

Run Chang Tang (Liquid Tincture) is a Chinese Medicine formula for chronic constipation. These herbs help to nourish the intestines and regulate the bowel movements. Helpful in chronic constipation due to older age, weakness, postpartum, or during a fever. May be taken over a long period of time for chronic constipation.

What else you might like to know:

This formula does not contain a harsh purgative known as Da huang, or rhubarb root. Therefore it is especially useful when a gentle purgative is called for.

It is important to understand that Chinese herbs work by restoring balance to the body. This means that you usually have to take an herb or a formula for a longer period of time than you would with pharmaceuticals in order to get results-- usually at least a month, and often times longer than that... it all depends on the individual and the nature of the ailment being addressed.

What is it good for:

  • gently resolving cases of chronic constipation

Traditional Chinese medicine benefits:

  • moistens the intestines
  • unblocks the bowels
